Human Detection Alarm Unable to Recognize?

Troubleshooting steps for human detection that fails to recognize people, including camera placement and angle requirements.

If the human detection alarm is unable to recognize people, follow these steps:

Check Camera Installation Height

Install the camera at a height between 2 to 3.5 meters, with the lens angled downward at 0° to 30° from the horizontal.

Check the Subject's Shoulder Width in Frame

The subject's shoulder width should occupy at least 1/10 of the total frame width. If the person appears too small in the frame, human detection accuracy may be reduced.

Enable Human Detection

In the app, navigate to Smart Alarms and make sure the human detection feature is enabled.
